The Finnish Innovation Fund Sitra has teamed up in 2016 with the Nordic Council of Ministers and distinguished institutions from all the Nordic countries to answer a simple question: how far could we go simply by scaling up already proven Nordic low-carbon solutions? The Green to Scale project has combined innovative analysis with active communication.

Green to Scale has been produced in co-operation with distinguished partner institutions. The first project was concluded with global partners in 2015, and the work has continued with Nordic partners in 2016.

The Nordic Green to Scale project involves distinguished institutions from all five Nordic countries, along with the Climate and Air Pollution Group KoL of the Nordic Council of Ministers:

  • Center for International Climate and Environmental Research (CICERO), Norway, who conducted the technical analysis for the report
